The article discusses the information modeling technology (BIM) for infrastructure facilities (on the example of roads) from the viewpoint of technical regulation. It considers the current state of standards for transport facilities data models and data interchange formats. Proposals for technical regulation system development are offered in order to promptly introduction of information modeling in Russia.
