Application of mobile devices for road inspection

The article is concerned with the capabilities of the use of mobile devices by road surveying. The article gives a detailed description of software modules for tablet computers developed by OAO SNPC ROSDORTEKH which allow to significantly improve efficiency and quality of performed work. Module "Traffic account" is designed for short-term traffic intensity measurement and for calculation of average daily traffic on this basis. Module "Monitoring" is designed for collecting and processing of information about road maintenance in different periods.
