The structure of the road information model at the stages of design and construction is discussed. The formation of the general road information model structure will allow structuring the further study cases for the development and implementation of the information modeling concept. In general, the road information model may consist of main models (concept model, developed design model, production model, completed project model and "In use" model), basic, special and resulting model (real model, plan model, future model, presentation model and "as built" model). In addition, the article shows the structure and sequence of works during the conceptual design stage.
